About Us
We created Maverick Eats to help students find restaurants and other social locations near the University of Texas at Arlington. We are not affiliated with the university. We, the creators, are five UTA students with an interest in the local food scene.
Members
Hannah is an English major minoring in linguistics for TESOL and Psychology. She dreams of working in refugee aid somewhere overseas when she graduates.
Fun fact: She is obsessed with the Avengers and loves her pet cat, Stanley.
Kathryn K. is an English major minoring in technical writing. They plan to get their Master's degree and pursue teaching at a community college.
Fun fact: They like to paint and create mixed media art.
Garrison Ellington
Garrison is an English major minoring in History. He plans on becoming a high school teacher after graduating.
Fun fact: He is an avid video game fan.
Stephen Rowe
Stephen is an English major, minoring in technical writing and professional communications. He plans to teach high school English while also pursuing a Master's degree.
Fun fact: He likes to read manga.
Kathryn U. is an English major with technical writing and history minors. Her plans after college include reading, writing, and taking walks with her dog.
Fun Fact: She enjoys going to renaissance festivals around the country.
